Frank Minogue | http://sketchbooks.org/frankminogue
I approach each piece with a certain whimsy and intuition. I begin with
a mark, rather than a set idea. Then I just see what happens next.
I enjoy creating an unreal space, an other landscape—more mindscape at
times. Most of my work has a chaotic feel to it. Colors smash against
one another, edges bleed together, and lines rise and tangle. Each
pastel is its own poem, with its own hidden codes, with its own
harmonies and disharmonies.
