I do mostly imaginative drawing, drawing inspiration from photographs and sketches I've done in museums. It all becomes like a kind of drawn collage and I never know exactly what direction a drawing will take.
I'm partial to Moleskine sketchbooks and black fineliners, but I'm also experimenting more and more: I have a sketchbook for observational drawing which I made myself out of different types of paper, and I have been using more and more colour.
Some of my favourite artists are: Egon Schiele, Hieronymus Bosch, Tove Jansson, Charles Burns, Marcel Dzama and Peter Doig.
