How to Submit an Image to an Article

When you’re logged in, a Submissions Box appears near the TOP on each Article page. Click to expand it and access the full Article Submission Form.
To contribute:
✍️ Paste a Deeplink to one of your images
✍️ Hit Submit
Our team reviews submissions on a rolling basis, and you’ll be notified if your work is selected to appear in the article.
Submitting images is always encouraged to be in the form of a Deeplink to your Gallery rather than uploads (although we allow both).
🔗 What’s a Deeplink?
A Deeplink is a special URL that connects directly to a specific Gallery Image on Sketchbooks.org—without exposing the original image file (like image.jpg
). It lets viewers access your artwork through our lightbox display while keeping your source file secure.
This is a deeplink: https://sketchbooks.org/gallery/jasonpogo/imagined-people-1/arctic_dude

To grab a Deeplink:
- Click a thumbnail to Open your image in the lightbox view
- Look for the INFO BOX in the upper-right corner
- Click the Share ➜ Copy Link button
Alternatively, the URL you see in your browser when viewing an image in the gallery is already a Deeplink—no extra clicks required.
Simple and secure.
